Welcome to MailCopilot

Beta

MailCopilot is currently in Beta. The core features are stable and ready for daily use, but you may occasionally encounter rough edges. We appreciate your feedback!

MailCopilot is an AI-native desktop email client designed for speed, privacy, and simplicity. It connects to your existing email accounts via standard IMAP/SMTP protocols and keeps your data under your control. With a built-in AI assistant at its core, MailCopilot helps you read, write, and manage email faster than ever.

Key Features

  • Multiple accounts -- connect several email accounts and switch between them instantly, or use the unified inbox to see all mail in one place.
  • Fast, native experience -- built with Electron and React for a responsive desktop interface with light and dark themes.
  • Privacy-first -- emails are rendered in a secure sandbox with external images blocked by default. Passwords are stored in your system keychain.
  • Conversation threading -- related messages are automatically grouped into threads for easier reading.
  • AI assistant (optional) -- a built-in assistant powered by Claude can summarize emails, draft replies, and help you manage your inbox.
  • Keyboard shortcuts -- Gmail-style and Outlook-style shortcut presets let you navigate and act on messages without touching the mouse.
  • Scheduled sending -- write a message now and schedule it to be sent later today, tomorrow morning, or at a custom date and time.
  • Offline mode -- download messages for reading without an internet connection.
  • Drag-and-drop -- move messages between folders by dragging them in the sidebar.
  • Desktop notifications -- get notified about new mail even when the window is in the background.
  • 6 interface languages -- English, Russian, French, German, Spanish, and Italian.

Supported Platforms

MailCopilot is available for Linux (AppImage, deb, rpm) and Windows (installer). A macOS version is planned for a future release.
